Systematic review discusses advancements in electrospun nanofiber separators for lithium-ion batteries, highlighting performance impacts.
Lithium–ion batteries occupy a central position in fields such as electronic devices and transportation. The performance of high-performance lithium-ion batteries hinges on the design of key materials, with the separator being one of the critical factors influencing overall performance. Traditional separators exhibit certain limitations in thermal stability, electrolyte wettability, and pore structure. Electrospun nanofiber membranes can effectively address these issues and demonstrate outstanding overall performance. This paper provides a systematic review and summary of research on this type of separator, aiming to offer reference for the development and application of high-performance lithium–ion battery separators.
