The present article presents the findings of the first benchmarking study done in Europe using the SCOR model. This project was carried out by Nicolas Roman, Vincent Poisson, Coralie Ceccarello, Cecile Pestre and Gus Neser of the ISLI (Bordeaux Business School) in collaboration with Gintic, the Institute of Manufacturing Technology (Singapore) and the Supply-Chain Council, which designed and developed the SCOR model, and continues to update and improve it. The study benefited from the kind support of Dominique Estampe, Director of the Institute of Industrial Logistics Management (Bordeaux Business School) and John Paul, Senior Research Fellow at Gintic. The findings were synthesised in a presentation made at the ISLI's 14th International Colloquium in May 2002.
