INSTRUMENTATION was developed to study spray-droplet impact processes on various plant leaf surfaces, as a function of droplet size and velocity, electrostatic charge/mass ratio, and concentations and types of surfactant. Equipment and techniques for high-speed photography (motion and still) were developed and used to record droplet impaction. The paper contains no numerical test data, but from observation of several high-speed motion pictures droplet reflection differs markedly among leaf surfaces. Some reflect a large size interval of water droplets ranging from about 60 to 550 fjim diameter
