Horticultural plants significantly contribute for both food and nutrition security in a vibrant way of life. Using the Internet of Things (IoT) and Artificial Intelligence (AI), for the quick growth of new things evaluated nearly in every sector, particularly in field of smart agriculture. Underneath the present climate changing situation, with a rising population and little farmland, agriculture, particularly horticulture, is facing mounting problems in meeting the diverse needs of modern everyday existence for that purpose the study highlights to improve current procedures for disease diagnosis, irrigation methods, growing conditions, maturation identification, or advertising. This study also focuses on the evolution of key parameters and the principles that drive them, as well as recent study innovations in horticulture crops which yields positive result in domain of horticulture. Lastly, it discusses how technological advances might be used in conjunction with transdisciplinary fundamental research to improve our knowledge and utilization of horticulture crops.
