Novel donor-acceptor conjugates were synthesized and characterized, indicating potential applications in electronics.
Novel HAB and HBC conjugates incorporating electron-donor and electron-acceptor moieties were investigated. Initially, various synthetic pathways toward the fused bis-perylene HAB system were explored, including the use of protecting groups such as BOC, acetyl, benzothiadiazole, and nitro functionalities. In addition, the synthesis and characterization of DTF-, TTF-, and malononitrile-based HAB and HBC conjugates were presented. Furthermore, the first rylene- and DTF-functionalized HAB conjugates were successfully studied.
