Uncovers mRNA isoform usage differences in cetacean and bovine brains, suggesting regional splicing variations.
To address differences in splicing across brain regions (brainstem, thalamus, and V1) , we used long-read CycloneSEQ RNA sequencing to sequence brain cDNA libraries from four species of mammals(Stenella attenuata, Neophocaena asiaeorientalis, Neophocaena sunameri, and Bos taurus) and calculated differential expression and transcript usage.
