The aim of this article is to verify and understand, through the analysis of a theoretical framework, how knowledge transfer (KT) is implemented in organizations that adopt hybrid work contexts as a result of digital transformation (DT). Specifically, we try to relate, through a theoretical and comparative approach, the process of knowledge transfer, carried out according to four models present in the literature, with respect to the main digital tools used in hybrid work (HW). The analysis of the first results shows that in models 1, 2 and 3 of knowledge transfer, the use of software that allows the sharing of documents and the exchange of information are considered to improve the delivery of work performance in the application of hybrid work. On the contrary, the examination of model 4 of knowledge transfer shows the adoption of digital platforms to efficiently share knowledge between employees in hybrid work contexts. In light of this, the originality of this research lies in the ability to provide a theoretical, but well-detailed, study on the possible connections between the four models of knowledge transfer and the digital tools adopted in hybrid work.
