Industrial control systems (ICSs) are specialised information structures that are distinct from the information technology standards that govern most information systems. Moreover, the ICSs are primarily used to manage dangerous infrastructures, for example, oil and gas facilities, smart grids, nuclear power plants, water management systems, and so on. In the present digital age, industry equipment is managed by systems connected to the internet, either via wireless or wired connectivity. Almost every organisation requires this technology to carry out its everyday industrial operations. However, these systems are constantly contending with cyber-attacks that threaten both the operations as well as the data. Thus, the systems must operate flawlessly to ensure optimum productivity while securing the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the mechanisms in use. In this context, the present study examines and evaluates the cyber security calculations of the industrial control systems through a fuzzy-based Analytical Hierarchical Process (F-AHP), as well as their possible impact on the security of the industrial control systems' operations.
