A picture of NGC 2444-5 is shown and described. The system consists of a number of gigantic emission regions in association with an E4 nebula, the whole complex imbedded in a luminous haze. Spectra of a number of the emission knots and the elliptical nebula have been obtained, and the recession velocity of the system is about 4000 km/sec. Some discussion of the possible nature of the system is given.
