THE previous report4 the authors have dis-I cussed the emotional impact of the diagnosis and prolonged illness upon the mothers of children with leukemia. T h e adaptive maneuvers employed by them in an effort to integrate the threatened loss of their children were also described in detail. This report will present an analysis of the T A T records, a thcoretical discussion of the implications of the investigative findings, and recommendations for the management of mothers whose children have leukemia.
