with rapid development of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) technology and their widely applications in both civil and military areas, the UAVs bring increasingly huge safety hazards. The various UAV formations designed for complex tasks are bringing greater challenges to anti-drone protection research. This paper presents a high precision UAV location method based on multi-frequency united electromagnetic imaging, in which the spatial frequency sampled by the interferometric baseline is applied as the unified representation for different interception frequencies. An electromagnetic image for target detection is generated by the united multi-frequency synthetic apertures. Compared to traditional single array imaging processing, multi-frequency virtual aperture united electromagnetic imaging has the advantages of better array factor and higher array processing gain, which eminently suits UAV formation high precision reconnaissance.
