The Internet of Things (IoT) has the potential to completely transform a variety of sectors, including library science. The integration of IoT in libraries is examined in this study, with an emphasis on operations, resource management, and user experience enhancement. IoT devices and sensors can automate processes, optimize resource allocation, and increase operational efficiency. Libraries may improve user interactions by personalizing services, making tailored suggestions, and developing interactive experiences. However, data privacy, security, and access equity must be addressed. The study makes a strong argument for implementing IoT in library research, stressing the multiple benefits it provides to modern libraries and users. Embracing IoT in library practices promises to enhance the industry and transform the digital library experience as technology improves.
