Abstract

嗅覚改善を目的とした内視鏡下鼻副鼻腔手術では, 嗅裂の適切な開放と術後癒着予防が重要である. 従来は, 術者が嗅裂に合わせ市販シリコンシートを切断・滅菌・単包化する必要があり, 煩雑であった.今回われわれは, 嗅裂形状に適合する鼻腔留置用新規シリコンシート「セロフォート HWS®」(PMDA: Class I 届出) を開発した. 本製品は切断・滅菌・単包化されているため, 術中使用が簡便である. また, 前方に大孔と鼻腔底に小孔を設け, 前後・上下の識別および縫合固定を確実に行える設計とすることで, 左右対称に嗅裂部鼻中隔を隙間なく被覆することが可能であり, 術後の嗅裂癒着予防に有用な資材と考えられた.
