Introduction/Objective: In the field of implant dentistry, Artificial Intelligence (AI) has become a groundbreaking technology. Implant dentistry has advanced significantly in recent years due to the need for reliable, effective treatment outcomes. AI is becoming a potent tool capable of completely transforming several facets of implant dentistry, including treatment planning, surgical guidance, and osseointegration assessment. This article explores how Artificial Intelligence (AI) can improve the precision, effectiveness, and results of dental implant operations by examining current research and technical developments. Methods: Online databases such as Medline/PMC/PubMed, Scopus, Web of Science, and Google Scholar were searched for pertinent papers on the use of AI in dental implant treatment planning, surgical guidance, and osseointegration evaluation. Results and Discussion: AI has the ability to drastically change intraoperative guidance, postoperative monitoring, and pre-operative planning for dental implants. The potential of AI in implant dentistry has been established by several clinical studies and meta-analyses. Conclusion: The use of AI in implant dentistry promises a future with customized, precise, and predictable implant therapy. Improved osseointegration assessment, more accurate treatment planning, and more precise surgical guidance are just a few benefits of incorporating AI into implant dentistry. Future research should focus on addressing problems such as safeguarding patient privacy, integrating AI systems into existing clinical practices, and ensuring sufficient large datasets for AI model training. Clinicians need to stay up to date on the latest developments in AI and evaluate its potential benefits and downsides.
