This study evaluates the impact of cloud computing on public sector efficiency, focusing on the role of cloud-based infrastructure in enhancing government service delivery. A comprehensive literature review encompasses key themes including the evolution of cloud computing, applications in electronic government, and the benefits driving adoption in public administration. The methodology employed a qualitative analysis of existing research, case studies, and governmental reports to assess how cloud solutions facilitate interoperability, improve access to services, and streamline administrative processes. Findings highlight the advantages of scalability, flexibility, and advanced data management offered by cloud infrastructures, which contribute to more responsive governance. However, significant challenges such as security concerns, regulatory uncertainties, and resistance to technological change impede widespread adoption. The study advocates for the strengthening of regulatory frameworks, investment in digital infrastructure, and capacity building to enhance governmental readiness for cloud integration. Recommendations include promoting inter-agency collaboration and establishing robust cybersecurity strategies to ensure effective service delivery while safeguarding sensitive information. Ultimately, this research underscores the transformative potential of cloud computing in optimizing government operations and the necessity for strategic policy initiatives to realize its full benefits.
