Measurements of turbulent properties have been made on a fully developed, plane incompressible flow in a curved channel between circular, concentric walls. Comparison with the flow in a straight channel of the same Reynolds Number shows strong influence of curvature of the mean flow on mean velocity, turbulence intensity, scale, and spectrum. The influence of curvature is discussed on the basis of turbulent energy equations.
