Cloud computing is a solution that can provide remote computing today. It provides users with a high-performance computing resource that can be used at any time. When users are dealing with large tasks, if the task scheduling algorithm is not scientific and reasonable, it will cause unnecessary energy waste in cloud computing. This paper proposes a new scheduling algorithm based on the currently widely used scheduling algorithm HEFT, which aims to save scheduling time in task scheduling. Comparing the optimized algorithm with the benchmark algorithm, the results show that it can also be completed within the deadline, but it can save up to 24% of energy consumption.
