Polymerizable derivatives of an antidiabetic N ‐(4‐aminobenzenesulfonyl)‐ N′ ‐butylurea were prepared. Hypoglycemic effects of sodium salts of the starting drug, the monomers, and their copolymers with N ‐(2‐hydroxypropyl) methacrylamide were investigated.
