Seven dimensions of teacher attitudes about the educative process and four personality variables were studied over four samples of candidates for an intern teaching program. Three factors combining teacher beliefs and personality variables were consistently formed over samples. The present paper discusses the multidimensional nature of the beliefs and proposes studies relating these dimensions to teacher behavior.
