This study investigates relationships between motivations and demographic characteristics of pleasure travelers to and from Germany. Travelers responded to statements representing McIntosh's four motivational categories. Factor analysis of the statements produced three motivational categories and canonical correlation indicated no correlation between demographic characteristics and motivational factors. Results indicated that demographic characteristics and motivational factors have little relationship with each other for travelers to or from Germany.
