Far-ultraviolet spectra in the A range, and photometric data in the 105() 1 180 and 1225- 1350 A ranges, were obtained for several early-type stars in Perseus in an Aerobee rocket flight 1970 March 13. The spectra of t Per and Per are consistent with expectations based on previous observations of stars having similar spectral classifications. The photometric results, when corrected for interstellar reddening, are consistent with expectations for E and Per, but Per and a few other stars observed appear to be up to 1 mag brighter in the far-ultraviolet, relative to the visible, than expected. The present data do not allow a firm determination as to whether this is due to local variations in the interstellar extinction curve or to the stars being intrinsically brighter than predicted by model-atmosphere theory.
