Abstract

this she was a management consultant for GEC and a Quality Engineer for a SME in the North West of England. Her research areas are based around operations strategy and organisational behaviour/studies looking at the effect and impact of change initiatives on the organisation. Her teaching, in the areas of Operations Management and Operations Strategy, is to all levels of students including undergraduate, MBA and Executive. She is also involved in management consultancy to a range of companies from SMEs to large blue-chip in the areas of training, performance management, strategy and process improvement. Other professional activities include being a member of the European Operations Management Association (EurOMA) board and active involvement with the Economic and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC).
