Strategic Performance Management: Development of a Performance Measurement System at the Mayo Clinic

Leaders of integrated health systems need to develop a methodology and system that align organizational strategies with performance measurement and management. This discrete set of macrolevel indicators gives senior management a fast but comprehensive glimpse of the organization's performance in meeting its quality, operational, and financial goals.
