By salt metathesis using Na (Me4 TACD) SiH 3 (Me4 TACD = 1, 4, 7, 10‐tetramethyl‐1, 4, 7, 10‐tetraaminocyclododecane) with suitable Lewis base stabilized group 13 halides, the unprecedented parent monomeric silyltrielanes Me 3 N·BH 2 SiH 3 (1), IDipp·BH 2 SiH 3 (2a), IMe 4 ·BH 2 SiH 3 (2b), IDipp·AlEt 2 SiH 3 (3), and IDipp·GaH 2 SiH 3 (4) were synthesized (IDipp = 1, 3‐bis (2, 6‐diisopropylphenyl) imidazol‐2‐ylidene, IMe 4 = 1, 3, 4, 5‐tetramethylimidazol‐2‐ylidene). Similarly, triple salt metathesis with IDipp·ECl 3 (E = Ga, In) afforded the trisilylgallane IDipp·Ga (SiH 3) 3 (5) and the parent trisilylindiumane IDipp·In (SiH 3) 3 (6). 1–6 represent a unique class of compounds including terminal SiH 3 units bound to B, Al, Ga, and In units. The products were studied in detail by multinuclear NMR, IR spectroscopy, and single‐crystal X‐ray structure determination. Density functional theory computations highlight thermodynamic properties of the products and elucidate the bonding situation.
