The principal aim of this study was to identify the current assessment methods and approaches used by paediatric occupational therapists. A questionnaire was used. Most occupational therapists use a variety of assessment methods in order to meet the individual need of each child. Issues pertaining to the use of standardized and non-standardized assessments are discussed.
