Abstract

Website owners in industry have been successfully using Search Engine Optimization (SEO) to improve the visibility of their websites in search engine. Despite this, its use in research in understanding information supply and demand in internet has been very scarce. Our contribution is a methodology about the techniques for keyword preparation that are used in SEO called geo-targeted keyword and discuss the potential. In addition to it, we use the method to study about the demand and supply of information of health services and facilities in Jakarta. Furthermore, the data obtained from this method is used to analyze the performance of hospital websites in Jakarta to fulfill the need for such information compared to the emerging competitors, e.g. health startup websites. Our experiment shows a positive correlation between information supply and demand about health but the performance of hospital websites are weakly correlated with the information demand.
