In this article we present the findings of studies that were designed to discover the political orientations of young people in institutions of higher learning (June 1999, Urals State Professional-Pedagogical University [UGPPU], N = 625). It was participated in by the author and by E.M. Nikiforova, a graduate of the Institute of Sociology and Economics at UGPPU.
