A Year with Springer Nature: Reflections on the First Year of Bratislava Medical Journal

More than a year ago, the journal also came under the leadership of a new international editorial board, whose active members represent all medical disciplines and come from many leading universities around the world.We therefore believe that this is an appropriate moment to summarize what the transition to a global publisher and the launch of the online editorial management system (SNAPP) have brought to our more than 100-year-old scientific journal.
