The dilemma of climate change and its impacts calls for collaboration in tackling this plague confronting the present generation. The impact of climate change is experienced differently by regions, ages, communities, races, and gender, thereby putting women in many communities at the receiving end of being the most vulnerable. The study assessed the level of women's sensitisation on climate change awareness in Lagos State. Using a purposive sampling technique, primary data were collected with a structured questionnaire administered to 272 respondents in Ikeja Local Government Area. The results reveal that 86.0% of the respondents were aware of climate change, and 80.2% confirmed the reality of climate change. A larger percentage (60.3%) heard about climate change through the mass media. The paper concludes by recommending that community initiatives and programmes towards enlightening and training people, especially women and girls, on climate change and environmental issues should be adopted at the grassroots.
