On January 24, 2026, a team of experts led by SHEN JianPing from the School of College of Electronic and Optical Engineering & College of Flexible Electronics published an article in the 发光学报, introducing its research progress in the field of multi-wavelength laser technology. Expert SHEN JianPing established a compact LED-side-pumped laser system based on a hybrid Nd:YLF/Nd:YAG gain medium, which simultaneously generates output at 1047, 1053, and 1064 nm without any intracavity wavelength-selective elements, providing a new strategy for extending laser LED-pumped solid-state laser emission to adjacent spectral regions.
