Information systems (IS) are designed with the intention of helping workers perform their tasks. This is not necessarily obvious in the systems' failures. Frequently, one of the reasons for failure is that the systems did not help the workers perform their tasks better. Views of the IS professionals can aid in comprehending the effect of IS on task support satisfaction. A model was developed on the basis of the IS success model. Survey data was collected. Data analysis of the structural equation model (SEM) has shown that the quality of information and the characteristics of end-users affect task support satisfaction.
