Fluorescence yields, ω K (12 ≤ Z ≤ 42) and ω (38 ≤ Z ≤ 79), from a comparison of literature and experiments (SEM)

A presentation of fluorescence yields, ω K and ω , in terms of dependence on Z is developed from theory, valid for x‐ray excitation by electrons, from literature data and from experiments. The results and are a contribution to computer‐supported quantitative x‐ray analysis.
