In [2], A. K. Das introduced the notions of weak \(Δ\)-normality and weak functional \(Δ\)-normality and claimed that they are different. In this note, we show that they are equivalent. Moreover, we provide a correct replacement of some examples of [2] which are incorrect. We prove that a closed almost continuous image of a normal space is weakly \(Δ\)-normal, and that weak \(Δ\)-normality is a topological and additive property.
