“Homeopathic” Catalytic Activity and Atom‐Leaching Mechanism in Miyaura–Suzuki Reactions under Ambient Conditions with Precise Dendrimer‐Stabilized Pd Nanoparticles

Drei Generationen (G0, G1, G2) von dendrimerstabilisierten Pd-Nanopartikeln (PdNPs) wurden durch Klickchemie synthetisiert. Sie katalysieren Suzuki-Reaktionen von PhX (X=I oder Br) bei 25 °C, wobei die katalytische Aktivität mit sinkender Konzentration steigt. Der G0-Katalysator liefert eine Umsatzzahl von 540 000 bei 1 ppm an Pd-Atomen, und die Extraktion der PdNPs mit Alkanthiolen führt zu robusten Suzuki-Katalysatoren, die ausschließlich PhI umsetzen (siehe Schema).
