A reflectometer for the study of the optical properties of solids in the far UV is described. It possesses two essential features: firstly, it can rotate about the direction of the light beam, which enables measurements to be carried out with polarized light; secondly, an original detection method of the UV light beam is used. Some results obtained with this reflectometer are also given.
