The conductance fluctuation and higher order moments of a disordered carbon nanotube are statistically investigated. Detailed investigations on the evolutions of G distribution $P(G)$ and P(ln0.2em0exG) show the full transport evolution with metal-to-insulator crossover. It is demonstrated that the conductance G has a Gaussian distribution in its metallic regime, while it follows a log-normal distribution when the nanotube reaches its insulating regime by increasing disorder strength.
