Vocational High Schools (VHS) with multimedia expertise programs have one very essential subject, namely Basic Graphic Design. This subject aims to sharpen students’ basic design skills. Based on observations and interviews that have been conducted by researchers at VHS 4 Malang, VHS 5 Malang, and VHS 11 Malang, students have difficulty in understanding the application of color combinations’ use and theoretical graphic design materials. One of the reasons is because the learning activities are still teacher-centered, and the non-interactive learning media. There should be a learning media that can attract students’ interest and be able to stimulate students’ willingness to learn. Therefore, there should be a change in learning patterns from teacher-centered to student-centered. Based on the analysis of theoretical studies that have been carried out by researchers, one of the alternative solutions to solve this problem is to develop educational games. The development method used in this research and development is the ADDIE model, which has 5 stages. The educational game that will be developed is called “Degraf.” Based on the media experts’ assessment, it got a score of 96.43%, and from the material experts’ assessment, it got a score of 88.46%, with an average of 92.45%. These test results indicate that the “Degraf” educational game is very suitable to use as a supplement for basic graphic design subjects.
