Load influence on lissajous figure for online transformer winding diagnosis

Research of transformer online monitoring technique for transformer winding deformation is of great significance. In this paper, a method to diagnosis transformer winding online is concerned. This method uses transformer's operation voltage and current to build an ellipse that is called Lissajous figure. Through Lissajous figure, winding deformation is able to be reflected sensitively and intuitively. However, change of transformer's load will affect the parameters of Lissajous figure as well. As to this problem, this paper concentrates on the influence of load on Lissajous figure. Research on the discipline that how Lissajous figure changes with the fluctuation of transformer's load is executed. The results show that the amplitude of load will cause the ellipse to magnify or diminish proportionally, but the power factor of load have no influence on the ellipse.
