Linear stability analysis examines convection stability in non-Newtonian liquids, indicating implications for energy and environmental applications.
This study conducts a linear stability analysis on the convection process in ferromagnetic non-Newtonian liquids considering temperature and magnetic field dependent viscosity. Using the Galerkin technique, this study examines how these factors affect the stability of the system. Oscillatory convection mode is considered in the analysis under all possible boundary combinations. The study reveals that the stress relaxation parameter and both magnetization parameters (Buoyancy and Non-buoyancy) lead to system instability while the elastic ratio promotes stability. Results for Maxwell’s liquid for FIFI and RIRI boundary conditions are analyzed in the limiting case. By harnessing the distinctive characteristics of these liquids, researchers can enhance energy system performance, advance methods for environmental cleanup and deepen insights into atmospheric dynamics.
