The observation of a woman, aged 21 years, having congenital sucrose intolerance is reported. The tests used for diagnosis are recalled as well as the mechanism of diarrhea due to disaccharidase deficiency. The efficiency of the substituent enzyme therapy is studied; it should be continued indefinitely.
