Study optimizes relative humidity and PM10 in residential buildings, suggesting improved indoor comfort.
Indoor comfort is necessary for a good environment and healthy lifestyle, depending on three parameters. Thermal Comfort, Indoor air quality (IAQ), and Illumination level in which the Thermal Comfort depend on mainly two parameters temperature and relative Humidity. In earlier research, only the temperature of the thermal Parameter was optimized, and Relative Humidity (RH) was not considered also; indoor air quality depends on several parameters like (CO <inf xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">2</inf> , NO <inf xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">x</inf> , PM2.5, and PM10). In this paper, the optimized relative Humidity of thermal comfort and PM 10 of Indoor air quality using a gradient-free optimization algorithm, i.e., JAYA algorithm. Further, the results will be compared with the other existing algorithms (PSO, fuzzy and grey wolf).
