In today’s dynamic business environment, micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) must swiftly adapt to market demands and operational challenges. Transformational leadership is thought to promote a culture of innovation and knowledge sharing. This study investigates the impact of transformational leadership (TL) on knowledge management (KM) and supply chain agility (SCA) in Mexican firms. Using a quantitative causal-predictive methodology, data were collected through a self-administered survey of 200 randomly selected MSMEs in Michoacán, Mexico. The findings reveal that TL significantly enhances KM. However, no direct significant impact of TL on SCA was observed. Instead, KM was found to positively influence SCA. Additionally, the results indicate that KM fully mediates the relationship between TL and SCA. These insights underscore the importance of fostering robust knowledge management practices to improve supply chain agility in Mexican MSMEs, offering valuable guidance for decision-makers seeking to boost organizational adaptability and responsiveness.
