Perovskite-based multispectral imaging is impeded by the challenges associated with the controlled fabrication of megapixel-level, small-sized sensor arrays with uniform performance and spectral resolution. The miniaturized perovskite multispectral imaging system necessitates improvements in both narrowband photodetectors and multispectral imaging mode. To address this, a novel halogen ion substitution strategy was employed to modulate the photoresponse bands, facilitating the controllable fabrication of on-chip integrated multispectral perovskite films. Leveraging an alternating stacking strategy, multispectral photodetectors with narrowband characteristics were achieved, exhibiting a narrowest full width at half-maximum (FWHM) 13.8 nm. Benefiting from a high responsivity of 0.22 A W–1, a low noise current density of 3.1 × 10–13 A Hz–1/2, and the self-powered mode of the perovskite multispectral photodetectors, the light attenuation diffused by an image object can be effectively correlated to its color. Coupled with an advanced Fourier computation algorithm, RGB perovskite photodetectors enable high-fidelity fast color image reconstruction within 100 s, even under weak-light conditions (8.7 μW cm–2). Our approach not only advances the development of perovskite multispectral devices but also accelerates the commercialization of compact perovskite-based spectrometers or cameras.
