During his campaign to raise funds for poor in Jerusalem, Paul promoted his cause to Corinthians in following way: I) He told of sacrificial giving of Macedonians toward this project. 2) He sent Titus to Corinth to assist Christians there in their fund raising campaign and encouraged them also to contribute generously and willingly (2 Cor. viii 6-8). 3) Paul reminded them of the grace of our Lord Jesus, that on account of you, became poor when he was rich (2 Cor. viii 9). 4) He further encouraged Corinthians to complete their fund raising project (viii IO-I2). Paul said this program of sharing was not intended to inflict undue hardship but to establish an economic equality (6CrOTTO;) among saints (viii I3-I5). 5) Paul also recommended Titus and the brother who is famous for preaching gospel through all churches (viii I8). Both of these men were to assist in campaign at Corinth (viii 16-23). 6) He asked Corinthians to live up to claims Paul had made for them and not humiliate Paul before
