Case report highlights an isolated fibular adamantinoma in a child, indicating its rarity.
Adamantinomas are a rare, low-grade, malignant mesenchymal bone tumor, accounting for fewer than 1 in 250 of all primary bone tumors across a range of ages but most commonly in the third and fourth decades. These often involve the tibia but rarely involve the fibula. We report a rare case of an isolated fibular adamantinoma in a 5-year-old boy and review the literature.
