Case report reveals bilateral testicular tumors in a young male with congenital adrenal hyperplasia, highlighting diagnostic importance.
Congenital adrenal hyperplasia (CAH) is an autosomal recessive disorder most commonly caused by 21-hydroxylase deficiency. Testicular adrenal rest tumors (TARTs) are a known complication of CAH, especially in males with poor hormonal control. We report the case of a 21-year-old male with simple virilizing CAH who developed bilateral TARTs and a left adrenal mass with internal hemorrhage, highlighting the importance of early diagnosis, hormonal monitoring, and imaging in disease management.
