This article presents the development of an open-source Python application for automated extraction of optical parameters from thin-film transmission spectra. The software implements two complementary approaches: (i) Swanepoel's envelope method for spectra exhibiting interference fringes, and (ii) a direct, simple analysis method for featureless or continuous transmission spectra. The application provides an intuitive graphical user interface for constructing upper and lower envelopes, simulating interference-modulated transmission spectra, and calculating critical optical properties. The software supports both manual and automated peak/valley detection, features real-time thickness optimization, and offers comprehensive data export functionality. Validation is demonstrated using BCZT ferroelectric thin films, showcasing the application capability to reliably extract optical parameters. The tool is freely available on GitHub to enable the widespread adoption and customization within the optical characterization community.
