Comparative trial reveals enhanced photoluminescence efficiency in perovskite quantum dots, suggesting optimal synthesis methods.
This work presents a comparative study of CsPbI3 perovskite quantum dots synthesized by hot-injection and halide-exchange methods. Using X-ray diffraction (XRD), IR spectroscopy, UV-visible spectroscopy, fluorescence spectroscopy, and transmission electron microscopy (TEM), it was demonstrated that samples synthesized by the hot-injection method exhibit higher photoluminescence quantum efficiency (up to 60%) and improved stability (~2 weeks). At the same time, the halide-exchange method enables the production of perovskite quantum dots luminescing in the visible range of 500–700 nm. Optimal synthesis conditions were determined for each method, allowing targeted synthesis of nanocrystals with tailored properties for specific applications.
