Study derives QCD phase transition temperature in the brane-bulk framework, suggesting self-consistency without free parameters.
The QCD phase transition temperature T_QCD ∼150 MeV is derived from rst principles as the temperature at which the Compton wavelength connement threshold equals the QCD connement radius, given the time-varying quark mass scal- ing m_q(t) ∝v(t)/v0 × m_q,0 where v(t) ∝H(t){7/2} is the Higgs vev evolution. The result T_QCD = m_q(t_QCD) × c(t_QCD)/k_B is self-consistent and yields T_QCD ∼150 MeV without free parameters. This paper also establishes the brane tension scaling τ(t) ∝H(t)4 from the Friedmann equation for the brane, and derives the QCD/electroweak unication scale as the temperature at which v(t_EW) = T_QCD giving T_EW ∼100 GeV consistently.
