Analysis of the right to healthcare in Bangladesh, addressing barriers and proposing enhancements for justice.
Few would contest that living a full and active life depends on being in good health. It is the secret to prosperity and wealth. While poor health is the primary cause of poverty, good health directly supports economic growth. However, one of the most important components of socioeconomic justice and human dignity is the right to healthcare. Bangladesh has ratified numerous conventions protecting this right as a member of the international community. Nonetheless, there are persistent barriers to the country's successful implementation of healthcare rights including poor infrastructure, unequal access, and a lack of enforcement. This paper examines Bangladesh's indisputable right to healthcare from a legal, constitutional, and global perspective. Alongside, it offers suggestions for enhancing healthcare justice while talking about judicial interpretations, remedies, and limitations.
